JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship is launched by JN Tata Endowment. This scholarship is for those students who want to pursue postgraduate/Doctoral courses in abroad but do not have enough funds to do so. This scholarship will support them to carry forward their education. Students must be undergraduates and must secure at least 60% in the last academic year.

This scholarship will encourage underprivileged students to pursue their higher education without any worry of funds. From this loan scholarship, students will be provided Rs of 1 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Students can repay the loan in 5 equal instalments of 20% between the 3rd and 7th years. Objective Of JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship

The main objective of the JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship is to support the students who are undergraduates and want to study at an International University. This scholarship will provide a loan of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh. From this loan scholarship, students of underprivileged families can pursue their higher education at an International University.  This Scholarship will make their future brighter. Only those candidates will be selected who have secured at least 60% marks in their last academic performance.

 Another objective of this scholarship is to encourage Students for pursuing their higher education at an International University. From this scholarship literacy rate will increase and students will move forward toward employment. Students can repay the loan in 5 equal instalments of 20% between the third and seventh year. They can repay when they have started earning. This scholarship provides a golden opportunity.

Selection Process

For availing of this scholarship students have to go through the selection procedure. The selection procedure has three stages initial screening, an online test, and an interview:-

•  Initial screening:- Students will be selected on their academic performance, and involvement in co-curricular and extracurricular activities will also be checked.
• Online tests:- students have to give online tests based on the lines of Thinking skill assessment. 
• Interview session:- Selected students will be invited for an interview. It will be based on last year’s knowledge they gained. The interviews were conducted by the director of the endowment and subject expert in Mumbai.

Important Information

This scholarship will be provided to candidates who wish to pursue a full-time master’s PhD or a postdoctoral research fellowship in any field. The amount provided within the scholarship is Rs 1 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Those students who are selected are not eligible for the maximum amount. Candidates must secure at least 60% in their last academic performance. Statement of purpose and letter of recommendation must be submitted. The application will start in December and the whole procedure is online. If the candidate is selected for the scholarship his guardians have to visit the administration office to complete the necessary formalities.
