About Ts ePass Scholarship 

The Government of Telangana state has launched a new hotel to provide educational support to the poor students of the state. With the help of this portal, students can apply for various scholarship schemes such as corporate admissions, pre-matric scholarship, post-matric scholarship, overseas scholarships, and skill up-gradation services, etc. The main objective of launching the Ts ePass Scholarship is to provide a better future to the students belonging to scheduled caste Scheduled Tribes and backward classes. Also with the help of this portal students will be able to create a better future without worrying about any financial hurdle.

Objectives Of Ts ePass Scholarship Scheme

The main objective of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to the students of the state so that they can continue their studies as per their own wishes. The Government will provide financial assistance to the applicant. The government will also provide many other services to the beneficiaries. Ts ePass Scholarship includes three types of scholarships. The name of the scholarships is Post Matric Scholarship, Pre Matric Scholarship, And Overseas Scholarship. The government wants to provide incentives to as many students as they can. So the government of Telangana has launched a scholarship portal.

Ineligibility Under Ts ePass Scholarship 

Here are the ineligibilities under this scholarship:-

• Those students who belong to any other category than disabled, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, backward class, economically backward class.
• The students belong to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe category whose family income is more than 2 lakh rupees.
• All those backward class, economic backward class and minority student who are living in rural areas having family annual income more than Rs 150000
• Students of backward class, economic backward class, and disabled studying in courses offered by open universities, distance mode, category B seat in MBBS, BDS
• Backward class, economically backward class students, and minorities students living in urban areas having family annual income more than 2 lakh rupees
• All those students who are disabled and have a family income of more than 100000 rupees
• Students pursuing part-time courses and online courses
• All those students who were admitted under sponsored seat on management quota seat
• Student receiving stipend which is more than the scholarship amount

• Non-receiving of the renewal proposal

• The physical verification process is conducted by the field officer twice a year
• After the submission of the online application, the students are required to visit the concerned department for physical verification
• All the students are required to submit the filled-in application form in the school/college
• Every information in the application form should be authentic

Eligibility Criteria 

Here are the eligibility criteria for applying under Ts ePass Scholarship:-

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state
• Applicants should belongs to the SC/ ST/ BC/ EBC/ Minority category
• Annual family income must not exceed Rs.2 Lakh for SC/ ST Category and Rs.1.50 Lakh (rural area) & Rs.2 Lakh (urban area) for BC/ EBC category.
• Physically challenged students may also apply whose family income is below or equal to Rs.1 lakh
• 75% attendance in each quarter is must to apply for the scholarship.
