Inspire Scholarship Scheme 2024

This Scheme is launched by the Ministry of Science and technology. This scheme was started for those students who want to study in the science stream, but their financial condition does not allow them to do so. Through Inspire Scholarship Scheme, the government will provide Rs 80000 to 100000 to the students. This amount will be provided to them till their course is completed, whatever is left. The Department of Science and Technology has made a contribution to this scheme which is very important. The department has contributed rupees 1979.25 crores in this Scheme on 13 November 2008. Many components of this scheme end which will rob the students. Along with the scholarship, the government will also provide various types of awards, internships, scholarships, and fellowships under this scheme.

Objectives of Inspire Scholarship

Types Of Scholarship Under Inspire Scholarship 

There are three types of scholarships under this scheme:-

• Scheme for early attraction of talent or SEAT
• Scholarship for higher education or SHE
• Assured opportunity for research career or AORC

Scheme For Early Attraction Of Talent Or SEAT

This scheme has been started to attract the students so that they can complete their studies. The scheme has launched an award of rupees 5000 for 1 million students who belong to the age group of 10 to 15 and are studying in standard 10. Rather than that summer camps are also organized for 50,000 students under this scheme

Scholarship For Higher Education For SHE

This program has been launched so that the students are interested in science programs. This scheme is provided in scholarship to 10,000 students of rupees 0.80 lakh per year. This is scheme will provide a mentorship program to every beneficiary this scheme is for the age group of 17 to 22 This scheme is really very helpful for the students who want the mentorship programs

Assured Opportunity For Research Career Or AORC

This program has been started to polish and nourish the children who are studying in the science stream. Through this program, our country will develop a lot and we will also get a lot of benefit from the development of films in the science stream of science. This scheme is divided into two components; the first components inspire fellowships. Under this scheme, students will be provided 10000 every year this scheme is for the age group of 22 to 27

This scheme helps the students to complete their doctoral degrees. The second component is really very helpful. The second component of a faculty scheme for the students who are in the age group of 27 to 32. This scheme is a miracle for every science student.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Inspire Scholarship is right here:-

• The interested applicants should be a citizen of India
• Age of the applicant should be 17 to 22 years
• Only recognised University students are allowed to participate under this system
• All the students with aggregate marks within top 1% of their class 12th examination of state or Central board in India eligible
• the students who have secured rank in JEE of IIT, AIPMT( within top 10000 ranks) and are presently pursuing natural basic sciences course in India are eligible to apply
• The student must be pursuing courses in natural and basic sciences at the BSc, BS and integrated MSc/MS Level
• All the students who have secured rank in JEE of IIT, AIPMT( within top 10000 ranks) and are presently pursuing natural basic sciences course in India are eligible to apply
• All those students who are selected under Kishore vaigyanik protsahan Yojana and are pursuing bachelor’s or master’s level courses in natural sciences can also apply
• Those  students who are scholars of National talent search examination, Jagdish Bose National Science talent, and international Olympiad medalist and are pursuing bachelor or masters level courses in natural sciences can also apply
