NEET UG 2026 Preparation Tips

1
Master NCERT First
NCERT textbooks for Class 11 & 12 are the absolute foundation. Read them line-by-line — over 60% of NEET questions come directly from NCERT.
2
Focus on Biology
Biology carries 360 out of 720 marks. Master diagrams, scientific names, and processes. Create flashcards for frequently tested topics.
3
Practice Previous Year Papers
Solve NEET papers from the last 10 years. This helps identify patterns, high-weightage topics, and improves time management.
4
Mock Tests Weekly
Take full-length mock tests every weekend in exam-like conditions. Analyze mistakes and work on weak areas after each test.
5
Revision Strategy
Revise all topics at least 3 times before the exam. Use short notes, mind maps, and mnemonics for quick revision.
6
Negative Marking Strategy
Avoid random guessing. Attempt only when you can eliminate 2+ options. Even leaving 10-15 questions unanswered is a good strategy.
