Post Matric Scholarship scheme is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme and it is implemented through State Governments and UT administrations. The Scheme provides financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste students studying at the post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.

Pre Matric Scholarship for SC Student

XPre-Matric Scholarship to the SC Students studying in classes IX & X is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme and implemented through State Government and UT administration. This scholarship is provided by the SC/ BC Welfare Department Government of Punjab.

Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the OBCs students studying at the post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. This scholarship is provided by the SC/ BC Welfare Department Government of Punjab.

Pre Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

This is a centrally sponsored scheme. The expenditure is shared between center and state in a 50:50 ratio. The aim of this Scheme is to motivate children of OBCs studying at the pre-matric stage. The scholarship is provided by the SC/ BC Welfare Department Government of Punjab.

Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme

The objective of the scheme is to financially help and encourage the poor meritorious students for pursuing higher education. Under this scheme, the attendance scholarship Rs. 50/- per month, per student for 10 months in a year is awarded to those scheduled caste girls, who are domicile of Punjab.

Pre Matric Scholarship for Minorities	The applicant must belong to the minorities communities like Sikhs, Parsis, Muslims, Christian, Jains, and Buddhists. The applicant must be studying in class 9th and 10th. The applicant must have scored 50% marks in the previous examination. The annual income of the family should not be more than 1 lakh.
