The EBC Freeship Card is a Maharashtra State scheme providing full tuition and examination fee waiver for economically backward students pursuing professional / technical higher education. Applied for on the MahaDBT portal. Under the 2026-27 MahaDBT-CAP integration, eligible CAP-admitted students no longer need to file a separate MahaDBT application — approval is auto-linked at admission.
