About This Scholarship
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College and University Students (CSSS) — awarded to top 20 percentile students in Class 12 board exam results pursuing regular degree courses. Provides ₹12,000 per year at UG level and ₹20,000 per year at PG level. Key 2026 update: One-Time Registration (OTR) on the NSP portal is now mandatory. OTR is a single Aadhaar-based registration that applies across every NSP-administered scheme — replaces repeated form filling for different schemes. Central scheme — independent of the Maharashtra MahaDBT-CAP integration.
