About This Scholarship

PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) — central scheme for OBC, EBC and DNT (De-Notified Tribe) students. CRITICAL 2026 update: the YASASVI Entrance Test (YET) has been CANCELLED. Selection is now based on Class 8 marks (for Class 9 applicants) and Class 10 marks (for Class 11 applicants) — no separate entrance exam required. Income cap: family annual income must not exceed ₹1.5 lakh. One-Time Registration (OTR) required on NSP. This is a CENTRAL scheme — independent of the Maharashtra MahaDBT-CAP integration.
