About This Scholarship

Central Government Post-Matric Scholarship for Scheduled Caste (SC) students pursuing post-Class-10 education. Routed through the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in). Important 2026 update: the NSP now requires One-Time Registration (OTR) — a single Aadhaar-based registration that carries across all NSP-administered schemes and eliminates repeated form-filling. This is a CENTRAL scheme routed through NSP — separate from Maharashtra's MahaDBT-CAP integration. CAP-admitted Maharashtra students can claim both a state MahaDBT scheme AND this central NSP scheme in parallel where eligibility allows.

This is a government scholarship classified as sc/st/obc. It provides financial support of Full tuition fee + ₹3,000 - ₹13,000 maintenance allowance per month to eligible students. The scheme is offered by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and is applicable in All India.
